Whatever issue you are having with your computer, we can help! We have an Apple and A+ Certified and Fujitsu authorized technician on staff to perform on site Apple Service & Out of Warranty PC Service including:
- Computer Upgrading and Tune-ups
- Repair
- Maintenance
- Virus Removals/Protection
- Data Recovery
Service Rates
Standard labour charge: $75.00 / hour
Rough estimate (5 to 10 minutes) are free. We understand you may only want a ballpark figure to help guide your decision making. We are always happy to take a few minutes out of our day to give a little free advice.
Thorough estimates take 1 hour ($75). if you choose to have your computer repaired with us we will discount the repair time by 1 hour to compensate for the estimate.
Apple Warranty Work
Apple hardware problems: No charge
Software Installations/Problems*: $75.00 / hour
*AppleCare does not cover software or OS installations
A note about laptop batteries: Customers should be advised that any Apple laptop batteries that were purchased more than a year ago are not covered under warranty (including Apple Care Extended Warranty). A minimum charge will apply for a UTS technician to run diagnostics on such batteries.

While the manufacturer may warrant the goods sold to the customer, we make no warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness, with the respect to such goods. We are not responsible for loss or damage in case of fire, theft or any other cause beyond our control.
DATA LOSS ALERT: We will not assume any responsibility for the loss of any software programs or data. We will make every effort to maintain the integrity of data stored on equipment we service. It is YOUR responsibility to obtain a viable backup prior to service. Data transfer, recovery attempts, restoration of backups, or software re-installation, if requested, will be charged at our current service rates. Any omissions, shortages, or service delivery issues must be communicated to an authorized McMaster University Micro-Computer Centre representative within 5 business days of service call closing.
